Netherlands: Katholink, a new app for young Catholics. “More involved in the Christian community”

The National Office for Youth Pastoral of the Netherlands, the JongKatholiek, launched Katholink, a new app for young Catholics. “Developed by young people, for young people”, a news release explains, “it provides an innovative platform to easily find all activities and events for the target group”. Young people themselves had asked for “a central place where relevant activities could be found quickly and easily”. So, now they will have a tool to feel “more involved in the Catholic community”. Actually, by placing all events on one single platform, it will be easier to take part in and stay up to date with activities that are important to them. In addition, the app contains aids for daily prayers and suggestions on useful readings. The app was launched during the National Youth Meeting that took place on November 2^nd.
